- 4th British Yorkshire Pudding Day
The Yorkshire pudding first appeared in The Art of Cookery, Made Plain and Easy by Hannah Glasse in 1747. Glasse was one of the most famous food writers of the time, and the popularity of her book spread the word of the Yorkshire pudding.
- 5th World Nutella Day
Nutella is manufactured by the Italian company Ferrero and was first introduced in 1964, although its first iteration dates to 1963.
- 9th National Pizza Pie Day (US)
It's hard to imagine that before World War II, pizza was little known outside of Italy or Italian immigrant communities. The celebratory day began in October 1984, and was created by Gerry Durnell, the publisher of Pizza Today magazine.

Archaeological evidence suggests that peas were grown in the eastern Mediterranean and Mesopotamia regions at least 5,000 years ago and in Britain as early as the 11th century. Pulses are an important source of protein, especially in developing countries.

Tortellini originates from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy and has a close association with the city Bologna. Numerous folk tales and legends surround this peculiar looking pasta. The story goes that Venus, the goddess of love, once stayed at a tavern in the city of Castelfranco Emilia.
- 13th National Cheddar Day (US)
A very cheesy day, National Cheddar Day is celebrated annually on February 13. Created by the Tillamook County Creamery Cooperation, this day celebrates the amazing cheese type called cheddar, and all its edible products.
